What to see in Lesvos

Welcome to the page about exploration!

Lesvos is the 3rd biggest island in Greece, and one of the most diverse in means of landscape and culture. This is an island which is perfect for excursions/outings, if you are a real explorer we are sure that you will find it fascinating!

It is around 3 hours drive (average) to go from the one side to the other. When thinking about how much time it will take you to go to a destination on the island don't only think it in means of km/miles of distance but also of how good or bad the road is. Overall we Lesvians have come a long way and the roads are much better than some years before, but still we are famous for the winding roads and in some case the rocky roads. When you rent a car don't rent a porche! Thats not the place for it :)

As you will be in this fascinating land - i say that also to my Greek friends who have not visited yet! - here is a list of ideas on what to do (big and small) at the island during you stay:

In the map above I broke down the island is 8 key areas of attraction, and further down you will find more information for each of them

1. Mytilini (purpole)
2. Mantamados (orange)
3. Molyvos (green)
4. Sygri (red)
5. Eresos (blue)
6. Kalloni (dark blue)
7. Plomari (yellow)
8. Agiasos (cyan)

There will be posts for all of this places, keep an eye on the upcoming posts :)
